Just to give Hongkong a little rest, I’m posting a teaser from our three-day vacation in Bohol. I totally loved it there and I wish I could go back soon…

Ykaie’s First School Books
These are ykaie’s very first school books. I browsed through it and read a little a lot when her teacher gave them to me. I covered them up in plastic and returned them to school on her first day.
Everyday, when ykaie goes home, I ask her what they do in school and she tells me that she’s learning all about shapes and colors. She’s also learned what her left and right hand is.
I’m excited that she’ll be tracing letters soon and will finally learn how to write.

Ngong Ping 360
After the compulsary City Tour {Click here: 1st stop, 2nd stop, 3rd stop}, we went back to the hotel to change our clothes. Then we headed to Tsuen Fung Centre and had a quick lunch at the small hole-in-the-walls there before finally riding the MTR to Ngong Ping.
Ngong Ping is where we could ride the cable car and go to the Po Lin Monastery to see the Tian Tan Buddha or Giant Buddha. Sadly, the cable car was under maintenance that day so we had no choice but to take the bus.
It was a good 45 minute ride going there and ykaie was acting up a little so we decided to forego the 200 steps on the way up the giant Buddha.
What we did was just feast on some Milo Drumstick and Pineapple Ice Cream and this braised egg and red iced tea. We also tried this Egg Waffle before leaving Ngong Ping.
Some picture-taking while waiting for the egg waffle. Ykaie is such a princess…
..and look at my peanutbutter♥.
Settling for a photo with the Giant Buddha down here…
It was such an enjoyable journey. Of course, we were hungry afterwards and was anticipating my HOT cousin Rome’s birthday dinner at the Crystal Lotus in Disneyland Hotel.
