We got a special invite from Globe to join the premiere screening of Lilo & Stitch last May 24 at SM North EDSA, and wow—what a fun and memorable experience it turned out to be for our little family!
Even before the movie started, the excitement was already in full swing. Globe set up a mini activity area outside the cinema, and there were a few super cute and creative things to do while waiting. One of our favorites? Design your own tote bag! 👜

You’ll see mine in the photo above—it has my name “Peach” on it (of course!) plus a “Dog Mom” sticker and a bunch of adorable dog and cat stickers. It was such a fun way to express ourselves—and honestly, I love that we got to take home something personalized!
After that, we lined up for the spin-the-wheel game, and guess who gave it a whirl? Twinkle! She had so much fun spinning, and even more fun winning—she scored four awesome prizes: two bamboo charging kits, a bamboo speaker, and bamboo sunglasses. Swerte ni Twinkle, diba?
Once all the fun activities were done, Globe handed out snacks for everyone (yes to popcorn and drinks!), and we all headed inside the cinema for the main event.

Lilo & Stitch 2025 Movie Review
The 2025 remake of Lilo & Stitch stayed true to the heart of the original while adding a fresh, updated feel for today’s audience. The animation was vibrant, the Hawaiian setting was still as dreamy as ever, and the chemistry between Lilo and Stitch? Still so lovable. 🥺
What really stood out was how the film deepened the emotional connection between the characters, especially between Lilo, Nani, and Stitch. You could really feel the love—and the struggles—of a little family just trying to stay together. The movie was touching, funny, and full of those classic Stitch moments we all adore.
It’s a great introduction for kids who didn’t grow up with the original and a sweet nostalgic treat for those of us who did. Highly recommend watching it with tissues nearby!

Grabe! This movie never gets old! Whether it’s your first time or your tenth, Lilo & Stitch hits you right in the heart. The mix of comedy, action, and tender moments makes it a family favorite. It’s a reminder that ohana means family—and family means nobody gets left behind. 😭
And yes, Ykaie and I cried a lot! Because who doesn’t cry during Lilo & Stitch?! Twinkle enjoyed it too, especially the funny parts and the cute alien chaos!
Thank you so much, Globe, for this beautiful bonding experience. It was such a lovely afternoon filled with laughter, creativity, and happy tears. Can’t wait for more events like this!

😄 Pero ang pinaka-heartwarming talaga is how this whole event became a core memory for you and your family. Lilo & Stitch has always been an emotional rollercoaster, and hearing how you and Ykaie cried (kami rin!) just proves how timeless and touching the story is. Hindi talaga nagkakamali si Stitch when he says “ohana means family”—and you can really feel that from your kwento. Super thanks din sa Globe for making moments like this happen—bonding time na, may freebies pa, tapos may feels overload sa sinehan! 🥹💖 Hoping for more events like this too!
