Being a Stay-at-Home Mom Doesn’t Mean You Can’t Make Money

Hi, I’m Mommy Peachy! 💕 Like many moms, I chose to stay home with my kids full-time. But that didn’t mean I had to give up on earning—or contributing to our family income. Over the years, I’ve found several legit ways to earn from home while still being a present mom. Some are small streams, others have grown bigger. The best part? You can do it too.
Here’s how I make money from home—plus tips so you can get started today.
1. Sponsored Content on My Blog and Instagram
As a content creator and food/lifestyle blogger, I work with brands that align with my niche—family life, food, wellness, and home. Sponsored posts can range from ₱5,000 to ₱50,000+ depending on deliverables.
TIP for You: You don’t need a huge following. If you have an engaged audience, start pitching to local brands or join influencer platforms like Blogapalooza, Activate, or Grapevine.
2. Affiliate Marketing
I earn passive income by recommending products I already use and love. Every time someone clicks and buys through my link, I get a small commission.
Examples: Lazada, Shopee
Start here: Sign up for affiliate programs (Lazada Affiliate, Shopee KOL, Involve Asia) and begin inserting links in your blog, IG Stories, or FB posts.
3. Selling Digital Products
I’m thinking of offering printable planners, recipe ebooks, and templates. They sell while you sleep!
TIP: Start with Canva! You can design a simple meal planner, baon guide, or family budget tracker, then sell it on Etsy or Gumroad. Even better if you promote it through your blog and socials.
4. Freelance Writing & Content Creation
If you love writing, why not get paid for it? I write for other blogs and websites occasionally — either ghostwriting or contributing as “Mommy Peach.”
Where to start: Join OnlineJobs.ph, Upwork, or Facebook groups for freelancing moms. Start by offering low rates while building your portfolio.
5. Workshops & Online Classes
This year, I’m planning to host mini workshops on topics like meal planning, food photography, or blogging for beginners. Moms want to learn from other moms!
Think about what you know: Can you teach something? It doesn’t have to be perfect—just helpful. You can use platforms like Zoom or Thinkific to host a class.
You Don’t Need to Do Everything—Just Start Somewhere
The best advice I can give? Start with what you already know and love. Your story, your skills, and your lifestyle are valuable. Making extra income as a stay-at-home mom is absolutely possible—and you can grow it over time.
