When I started blogging more than a decade ago, I didn’t even know you could earn from it. I just wanted a space to share my recipes, mom stories, and little family adventures. I remember writing at midnight while Twinkle was still a baby, not for money — but because it made me happy.

Fast forward to today, and my blogs — The Peach Kitchen and Mommy Peach — have become not only my creative outlet but also a source of income that helps support our family.
If you’ve ever wondered “How do bloggers actually make money?”, let me share how I do it (how to earn from blogging Philippines and how you can, too).
1. Google AdSense: My Main Blog Income Stream
Once your blog gets regular readers and traffic, you can apply for Google AdSense. It automatically shows ads on your site — and you earn every time someone views or clicks on them.
I remember my first payout — it was around $120, and it felt like magic! Now, I treat AdSense as a steady part of my monthly income. The key?
- Write about high-traffic topics (like parenting, food, or home).
- Post regularly.
- Make your blog mobile-friendly and fast-loading.
💡 Tip: Blog posts with keywords like “Philippines 2025,” “budget,” or “work-from-home” tend to attract higher-paying ads.
2. Affiliate Marketing
This one’s like recommending your favorite Shopee finds — but you get a commission every time someone buys through your link.
For example, when I share a kitchen gadget or snack brand I love, I add my affiliate link. If someone clicks and buys, I earn a small percentage. No extra cost to the buyer!
💡 Tip: Always be honest with your reviews. People follow you because they trust you.
3. Brand Collaborations & Sponsored Posts
Over the years, I’ve worked with many brands — from food and lifestyle products to parenting campaigns.
Brands usually pay bloggers to feature or review their product, especially if your blog has a good following and engagement.
If you’re just starting, you can reach out to brands you already use and love. Offer to feature them in exchange for a collaboration — sometimes, that’s how long-term partnerships begin.
4. Selling Digital Products or Services
If you have skills (like writing, photography, or cooking), you can sell your expertise!
Many Filipino bloggers now offer e-books, recipe collections, or mini-courses.
I’ve been considering creating a “Mommy Blogging Starter Kit” — a guide for moms who want to turn their stories into income. Would you want that? (Let me know in the comments!)
🧡 My Take
Earning from blogging doesn’t happen overnight. But if you’re consistent, passionate, and patient, it’s one of the most rewarding ways to earn from home — especially for moms.
So if you’ve been thinking about starting your own blog… do it. Start small. Write what you love. The income will follow — promise. ✨
