But here’s the truth: you don’t need to spend an hour in front of the mirror to have healthy skin. With just a few minutes and the right products, you can look and feel fresh—kahit puyat ka from Netflix or endless “Mommy!” calls in the middle of the night.
Here’s my realistic, busy-mom skincare routine:
- Cleanser (2 minutes)
Choose a gentle cleanser that removes dirt and oil without stripping your skin. Perfect way to start and end the day. - Toner or Mist (1 minute)
Refreshing, hydrating, and a little “pick-me-up” moment. Hindi kailangan mahal, as long as it works for you. - Moisturizer (2 minutes)
Kung may isang step na huwag kalimutan, ito na ’yon. Keeps your skin smooth and hydrated kahit stressed ka na sa dami ng gawain. - Sunscreen (2 minutes)
Your best anti-aging product. Kahit nasa bahay ka lang, UV rays can still damage your skin. A daily must-have! - Lip Balm or Tinted Lip Gloss (1 minute)
Small touch, big difference. It instantly makes you look more awake during Zoom calls or habang nag-aasikaso ng errands.
Optional mom luxuries: Once or twice a week, add a sheet mask or a gentle scrub. Para kang may mini spa session sa bahay, kahit 15 minutes lang.
Remember, skincare isn’t just about looking good. It’s about feeling good. As moms, we give so much of ourselves every day — it’s okay to give back a little love to our skin, too.
