Love in the Little Things: How Small Gestures Keep Our Marriage Strong

When people ask me what keeps our marriage strong, my answer is simple: it’s the little things. 🥰

We don’t always have grand anniversary celebrations or luxury vacations (though siyempre, nakaka-excite din ‘yon). What really strengthens our marriage are the everyday gestures that may seem ordinary — but mean the world.

Like when he saves the last slice of cake for me (kahit alam ko gusto nya pa talaga 😅) or when I make him coffee in the morning everyday. Or when I. Or when we both laugh over something only the two of us find funny, kahit wala nang ibang nakaka-gets.

These little things build up into a foundation of love and trust. Because love doesn’t always look like roses and candlelit dinners, it looks like:

🌸 Saying “ingat” before heading out.
🌸 Watching each other’s favorite shows kahit hindi mo trip.
🌸 Helping out with chores without being told.
🌸 Quiet moments of comfort during hard days.

It’s in those simple, ordinary moments that I feel the most loved. And it reminds me that marriage isn’t about perfection—it’s about choosing kindness, laughter, and love in the little things, every single day. 💕
