We went to Tagaytay last April 4 for our much needed vacation. We were supposed to go to Puerto Galera but because of recent earthquake and earthquake scares, we chose a different destination. It was Ykaie’s first out of town bus travel. Boredom was kept at bay by watching a couple of Spongebob episodes I downloaded on my phone.

We stayed at the Piña Colina Resort. Cold Tagaytay weather and relaxing atmosphere equals a wonderful time.  Just had a little trouble sleeping, though.

We had a lunch of Spam Carbonara and Grilled Cheese Sandwich and lots of picture taking before we could finally go into the water.

Then it was finally time to dip into the water. We brought some snacks which we kept in one of the cottages beside the pool.

The water was freezing but we still dipped in to have fun!

Ykaie loves the water. I’m thinking of letting her take swimming lessons.

We ended the night with a nice dinner, coffee and good conversation…

..missing Tagaytay already.
