Ykaie is fond of reading…well, technically, she’s fond of books. She loves it when I read to her during the late afternoons and right before she goes to bed. She’s been wanting to buy this book entitled “Ulkkk!, di ko malunok ang Tableta!” {Ulkk! I can’t swallow that tablet!} for the longest time but we had to make way for other books first. Last friday, while window shopping to let the time pass for this one event that I’m attending, I passed by the bookstore.
I remembered how much she wanted this book so I bought it. I admit I’m a little guilty that day, though because I haven’t spent some time with her.
She was really excited when I handed her the book when I got home. She asked me to read it to her before going to sleep.
It’s about this little boy named Jeremy who is having a hard time swallowing medicine in tablet form. He favors syrups. Family and friends have given their tips and ideas to help him…..and he finally did it at the end.
The next morning, I found out that Unilab sent a bottle of Ceelin Chewables for Ykaie.
Ykaie has the widest smile when I told her about the vitamins. She felt all grown up, taking her vitamins in tablet form even if it’s chewable.
