Courage is defined as the quality of mind or spirit that enables a person to face difficulty, danger, pain, etc., without fear; bravery.
I think the most courageous thing that I did was to call off a 9-year relationship that was going nowhere. I already knew beforehand that it was going nowhere but it took me a long time before I had the courage to do that. I was scared to face reality and pain. I needed a little nudge. My peanutbutter♥ was the “nudge”.
I think it still counts as courageous even if I had the “nudge”.
Welcome to the new home of my GT entry!

Most definitely! Sometimes people tend to not want to let things go even though it’s obvious it’s not working out. It’s very difficult to end any relationship but I believe you have to get rid of old stuff to make room for something bigger and better 🙂
Happy GT!

I d0 agree with your analogy. When you have been in a relationship for too long a time, you start being too comfortable in it and the thought of embarking on a whole new journey again is pretty intimidating. Kudos to you for following your heart and doing the right thing.

for you to end a relationship na sobrang tagal na, that’s an act of courage. people kasi, when they get comfortable in a relationship, sobrang nahihirapan na to let go. but you did, and because of that you opened your heart to a love that is true 🙂
