I took ykaie to the hospital today for check-up. She’s having on and off fever for three days now and complaining about her tummy. I suspected that she may have urinary tract infection, so off to the hospital we went.
We had urine and blood sample checked. While waiting for the blood sample we had some chitchat with my cousin’s wife who’s working as a radiologist at the hospital. It’s always so nice to catch up on what’s happening with the family. It’s also nice to see which of her colorful medical scrubs she’s wearing. That hospital has the trendiest and most colorful styles. I guess those medical scrubs help in lifting up the sad mood of the patients because of the bright colors.
Anyway, when the result came back, it was all normal. My brother who is a doctor said that maybe it’s primary complex so ykaie had her chest x-rayed. Again, it’s normal. It was the sore throat that is causing the fever and nothing else.
Ykaie is now taking a rest in our bedroom watching Mr. Bean. She already took her medicines but has no appetite. I hope she gets well soon…
