Improve Reading, Improve Learning with Readability Center

I had been a fast learner as a child and a happy reader of children’s books and comic books at the age of 5. This is because my aunt is very diligent in teaching and encouraging me on how to read. I want the same for my daughter. That is why since the age of two, I buy her books which I think would be of interest to her. These books, I read to her during bed time and lazy afternoons when there is nothing to do. It developed her interest and now, I can tell that she is slowly learning to read and she loves storybooks very much. She even reads to her younger cousins.

Unfortunately, not everyone develops their reading skills in the same manner. There  are older children and adults who are having a difficult time in learning how to read. Fortunately for them, there’s Readabilty Center.

Readability Center is a literacy center that provides help to children and adults who are having a difficult time reading and helps them improve their reading skills. They also teach them to enjoy reading more often, therefore improving their learning.

They have highly experienced, knowledgeable, and trained specialists which facilitates all the programs that they offer. They have Programs for Both Young Individuals and Children, Programs for Schools and Centers and Programs for Families.

The programs for  young individuals and children includes: Reading Assessment, remedial reading Intervention, Reading Enrichment and Oral and Silent Guided Reading Practice. The programs for school and centers includes: Basic Course in Assessment and Intervention of Reading Difficulties, Assessment and Intervention of Word Reading Difficulties, Assessment and Intervention of Difficulties in Developing Fluency, Assessment and Intervention of reading Comprehension Difficulties, Organizing a School Based Reading Program and Teaching Reading in the Content Areas.

We read almost all day, everyday that is why it’s very important to learn how to read. We read the newspaper, advertisements, books, labels of food and a lot more other things. It is reassuring to know that there are now centers like this which can help individuals who needs help in improving their reading skills.
