Everyone was very happy in fuchsia on Christmas Day! Like all the past Christmases, this day serves as our family reunion on my mother’s side of the family. There’s a big get-together at Tita Becka’s house and each family brings a delicious dish for everyone to enjoy.
Ykaie wore a kind of glam-slash-rock outfit while I wore a simple top and denim jeans….
Each family had their picture taken. In this photo is my nanay and tatay, (who are really so serious..LOL!), my brother, my sister who calls herself Anney, my nieces: thea, cyra, and cyvrine (all my brother’s daughter), Ykaie, and I.

The kids were very excited to see each other and they couldn’t stop playing. They were also excited because they knew there will be lots of gifts later.

Late afternoon, before everyone went home was the gift-giving time. My tatay played Santa and was responsible in handing out the gifts to everyone. Ykaie was all smiles with each gift that she received. You’d think she was receiving a guitar all wrapped up.
Christmas is indeed for children. I took this photo of the gifts she received the next morning.
