Sis treated us for a movie yesterday. We watched Toy Story 3 in 3D but before the movie we went for froyo at Red Mango. Red mango is situated exactly in front of Toys R Us…so lucky Ykaie was able to talk sis into buying her a watch and a toy. Guess what’s the toy she got sis to buy her…..

It’s the “small computer” she wants to have…and it’s pink too! No, not a laptop. It looks like a laptop, and it even has a “mouse” attached. It’s one of those educational toys that helps children have fun while learning the alphabet, counting numbers, spelling and words. I’m all for both educational and non-educational toys. These toys will both help in our kids learning journey. If I could have it my way I would buy Ykaie all the toys in the market but of course we also have to choose the toys we buy for our kids. Sometimes, we choose based on our budget and sometimes we get to choose based on the quality of the toys.Just today ykaie asked me to buy her a “spatula”. “What spatula?” I asked
“Spatula mommy, just like what spongebob use to cook krabby patty..” ykaie answered matter-of-factly. LOL!
