We accompanied my mom to Manila Seedling Bank today. She bought a little Soursop Tree, 6 kilos of fertilizers and a couple of plants with white flowers. The vendor told us the name of the plant buI forgot what it was. I’m not a flower person..I’m more of a “food plant” person. Plants that bear fruits and veggies. But I don’t think I could grow them. I don’t think I have a green thumb. The herbs I tried to grow died in a month.

I’m a little bit tempted to buy these seeds. I have a sudden urge to grow a little veggie garden. Ykaie thought the seeds were some kind of nuts.

“Mommy, look, it’s the tomatoes of Peles” Ykaie said when she found a packet of tomato seeds. She remembered her favorite book entitled Ang Kamatis ni Peles/Peles’s Tomatoes.
Hala, dapat kantahan din ni Ykaie ang mga tanim para lumago, parang si Peles. Hehehe.
