When I first encountered this Korean Garlic Potato, I was both intrigued and glad. I was intrigued because it tasted so good, I wondered what are the ingredients that went in it aside from the potato. I was glad because I found it.
I first encountered it here at Koryo Korean Barbecue. This branch in SM North EDSA is now closed. I wonder why, their Potato alone never run out of people waiting in line to order.
It was also at that time when I thought about finding out what’s the recipe behind it. I think it has a potential to be a good business at the time.
Well, somebody had set up his own garlic potato stall and it was called Gamja!Gamja!
Sis and I tried it and frankly it still needs some improvement because the potatoes are a little overcooked which you can see from the photo. It would have tasted good otherwise…
