It’s kind of a little weird that I’m writing about the pools in Batis Aramin now that it’s raining pretty hard and the weather’s been cold. Actually, even though it was summer time when we were there, the weather is like this. It was cold and wet.
And since the water comes from the mountain, it was really cold and fresh.
Aside from the man-made lake from my last post, the resort has three large swimming pools. The kids enjoyed staying in the kiddie pool which was only two feet deep.
This other pool has a make shift falls. Water from the mountain is pumped by motor so it would go up. It was freezing cold here and I don’t think I ever dipped myself in it.

After taking a dip in the pool, Ate Weng, my cousin took us to the town proper and toured us around. We saw the artistic homeownersputting up kipings, fruits and vegetables to decorate their houses. Others are putting up finishing touches…
Everyone’s excited for the Pahiyas Festival the next day….
