Banana Peel is one of the local companies that I truly admire. They are the first flip-flops concept store here in the Philippines and I know that they started from really humble beginnings then worked their way to what they are now. That’s why I got really excited when they sent over some of their new designs for me and Ykaie.
Wrapped inside colorful papers and tucked neatly inside a square bayong were two cute flip-flops we couldn’t wait to unravel.
I love♥ anything metallic. This black and gold number called Mrs. Riddle from Banana Peel’s Metallozoo Collection just made me giddy. I have a summer outfit that is perfect to wear with this…. (feeling fasyon lang)
And this preppy Martha from the Candy Mint Collection does, indeed, looks like candy. It’s so cuuute!
Ykaie immediately fell in love with Regina from Pink-A-Boo Collection because pink is her favorite color. She actually asked if she could already wear it the moment she saw this pair. Of course, I told her I still have to take photos before she could….
And here she is, sporting her new pair of flip-flops.
Another one that came for her is this Natalie from Poshies Collection. It’s green, peach and white with a flower and pearl embellishment that makes Ykaie look more girly.
According to Banana Peel:
Kids have the wildest curiosity‐levels! Their untainted innocence makes them brave in exploring what they like, and what they want to do in life. That is what Banana Peel has taken pride in the idea of enhancing their flip flops for kids – there is simply no limit to the imagination!
The brand believes that kids are travelers at heart, and the world is a place with each nook and cranny waiting to be explored. In these adventures, kids slowly open their eyes to the wonders of the world; and Banana Peel believes that flip flops are the perfect companions to these magnificent experiences.
Another thing that’s great about Banana Peel Filp-Flops is that it is made from eco-friendly and non-harmful materials from the thong down to the sole. They also use non-toxic paints for their trendy prints.
