The other day, while I was busy with my laptop in bed, sis threw a small yellow box that contains this two small bottles. I’m guessing this was a gift to her and something she didn’t like the smell of. That’s what happens when she doesn’t want the smell of something, she gives it to me.
Of course, new things are always welcome because I always like trying out something new. This comes from The Body Shop’s Moringa Line of products. A small (60mL) bottle of Moringa Milk Body Lotion and a small (60mL) bottle of Moringa Shower Gel.
According to The Body Shop website:
The Body Shop Moringa range will caress your body with silky moisture and a delicate floral scent.
Honestly, I’ve never smelled Moringa flowers before so I won’t know if the smell of this is accurate but it gives off a really clean,mild floral scent.
The Moringa Shower Gel is soap-free and is said to contain real moringa seed oil. It is also lather-rich, which is pretty much how I like my shower-gel to be. I get very relaxed when I see bubbles….
While I’m not so fond with milk lotions, I still used and tried The Moringa Milk Body Lotion. It has a thin consistency just like any other milk lotions. It does hydrate the skin and leave it feeling smooth and soft but it is a bit runny so I still prefer thicker lotions.The good thing about it is only a small quantity is needed to cover the arms or legs.
Packaging: Both products comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a flip cap. The entire cap can even be screwed open. The flip cap shuts tight so it is quite a travel friendly packaging. Also the transparent bottle helps in finding out how much is left.
I don’t think it’s my favorite among The Body Shop’s line of fragrance but I’m still glad I tried it.
I’d like to try the shower gel to see how my skin reacts. Most gels and body washes seem to break me out with a rash, so I usually end up going with a natural goat’s milk soap.
I love the body shop! The smell when you walk into the store is heavenly! This sounds like a good smell for the morning.. I need something refreshing and lively bc I’m usually so zombied out.
I have never heard of them before but I am definitely going to have to check them out. It sounds like a great place. I do have sensitive skin so I would have to test it out too.
This looks like something that would make a great gift for the upcoming holidays!
Looks awesome, I can very well imagine it as a great Christmas gift for anyone who loves to pamper themselves.
I used to go to the Body Shop all the time, but lately I’ve been more into the natural soaps and lotions (e.g., black soap, cocoa butter, almond butter etc.). Maybe I would give this one a try though as I prefer mild scents. Wish I had a sister who would just give me the gifts she didn’t want!
