Learn and Play with Meadow Kids

A couple of weeks ago, we received a package from our friends from Meadow Kids containing two boxes of craft kits for Ykaie. One is the Fairies & Teddy Bears Stamps and Scenes and the other is the Fashion Designer Kits.

Meadow Kids is a company that is committed through products that contribute positively to the lives of their end customers, the child and their family. All Meadow Kids creations are designed to enhance family interaction and stimulate cognitive development. These are designed in the UK and are made for children 2-8 years old.

Ykaie and her cousins became excited the moment we received the package because they already know that the contents are for them. Both products came in a colorful packaging and well-designed boxes to store the items after playing.

Fairies & Teddy Bears Stamps and Scenes

This Kit contains:

• 16 Rubber stamps
• 12 designed sheets
• 8 felt colored pens
• 2 ink pads

There are 12 backgrounds to choose from. You can choose from the rubber stamp selection, press on one of the ink pads which comes in black and purple. Then stamp onto the designed sheets to make your own scene. To add color and designs to your scenes, just use the colored felt pens.

This is perfect for an arftsy fartsy weekend activity or for storytelling night….

Ykaie and her cousins couldn’t wait for me to finish taking photos because they are very excited to play with it. Bears and fairies are just the perfect characters for children to start a story with.

Ykaie loved creating scenes that tells a story…. like a family of bears having a picnic in the park while fairies, birds, and butterflies fly around them.

I love that this tickles her imagination and creativity…

Fashion Designer

The Fashion Designer kit contains:

• 2 models
• 8 felt tip pens
• 4 sheets of coloring stickers
• 4 sheets of colour stickers
• 2 glitter glues
• 1 style and sketch instruction booklet

Ykaie already play with small paper dolls which can be bought at the small store near our house. Imagine how big her smile was when she found out that she’ll be playing with big paper dolls in this kit.

I love watching Ykaie come up with casual and fashionable clothes for the models. It’s also nice watching her design  and color some of the clothes herself. She puts the glitter glues mostly in the accessories like the earrings and necklaces. I guess that’s because those are the things that glitters.

And because there are two models, she gave one to her ate Cyra so they can do a catwalk….LOL!
