There’s just something about matching outfits during family trips that instantly makes everything feel more fun.

Not necessarily bongga.

And during our staycation at Grand Imperial Residences at Shore Residences, we decided to go with a simple but super fun theme: Matchy-matchy caps + comfy pastel outfits.

And of course, as always, Sis was responsible for putting together our OOTDs.

At this point, she’s basically our unofficial family stylist whenever we travel. 😂

Why We Love Matching OOTDs During Staycations

I know some people think matching outfits are “too much,” but honestly…

I love it.

Because when you look back at the photos later, there’s this feeling of: “Ahhh, this was OUR little family moment.”

Our Staycation OOTD Theme: Casual, Comfy, and Color-Coordinated

Since it was a swimming staycation, we didn’t want anything too dressed up.

We wanted:

Something cute in photos

So we went with:
💜 Purple
💗 Pink
🤍 Neutral tones

And of course — the matching caps pulled everything together.

Honestly, even simple outfits instantly looked more coordinated because of the caps.

The pastel colors made everything look soft and playful, and it gave our photos that effortless “family OOTD” vibe without trying too hard.

And honestly? I’m glad she does. Because looking at the photos now, everything looked so cohesive and fun without trying too hard.

One of My Favorite Things About Family Staycations
