What We Did During Our Stay at the Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort and Spa {Part 2}

Swimming

The Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort and Spa offers two large swimming pools: the Main Pool and the Ocean Wing Pool. We mainly stayed at the Main Pool because that’s where the kiddie pool, the toddler pool and the mini-waterpark is located. Most of our stay at the resort was spent at the pool, where else? Ykaie loves swimming and she barely goes out of the water except when she’s sleepy or tired. Or when there’s ice cream.

peanutbutter♥ plays with her at the pool most of the time because I know that he missed her so much. While I sit in the shade and browse the net on my phone {where I saw this burlap table runner that I really really want so bad}. There’s wifi all over the hotel/resort and the signal’s fast and good.

This is the kiddie pool which, I think is only three feet deep.

It also has a water gun/water canon that Ykaie loves using to hit her daddy…

But there’s two, so sometimes they hit each other..LOL!

Ykaie is really a friendly child and that’s one of the traits which I’m so proud of. She can always make friends wherever she goes and no matter what language the other child speaks, she manages to communicate well. She’s playing with a Korean girl in the photo above.

At The Mini-Waterpark

Near the Main Pool is this mini-waterpark for the kids.

Ykaie loved playing here because of the different devices, wheels she can twist and turn.. and of course the slides!

Here she is playing on the green slide….

This is the toddler pool which, I think is only a foot deep. There is an arched shower near the front which toddlers and children enjoy getting wet at.

Perfect timing of the shot and the already-full cone bucket above us! It was a SPLASH!!

I could go back here over and over again….
