One does not leave Cebu without buying some of those delicious delicacies which can only be found there to bring home to friends and relatives. So what did we buy for our loved ones?
First and foremost on the list is Cebu lechon. There’s a Zubuchon at the airport where you can buy frozen lechon you can take home to Manila. We bought a kilo which ended up in the oven and dinner that night…LOL!
I was trying to look for a sterling silver jewelry to bring home to sis but I found none that she would have liked.
Titay’s round, scalloped edged biscuits – the Rosquillos and of course, its creamier version – the Rosquillos Corazon. We figured this is the best pasalubongs for our mothers since they are fond of biscuits and cookies.
Shamrock Otap, which peanutbutter♥ bought a lot of because he took some back to Dubai.
Zubuchon’s Chicharon which is really to die for!
Danggit, Dried Pusit and Fish Tapa — some of the dried fish products that Cebu is known for….
We also had Dried Fish Bone and Fish Tocino which is kinda like dried squid when cooked.
Come to think of it, I still have these dried fish products on stock. Now I know what’s I’ll cook for breakfast tomorrow…
