Checkout Day OOTDs Hit Different
You know that feeling during the last day of a staycation when everyone’s a little tired, a little sunburnt, but also super happy because the trip turned out so fun?
That was exactly our mood during checkout day at Grand Imperial Residences at Shore Residences.
And of course, before leaving, we just HAD to take more family photos because sayang naman the matching OOTDs. 😅
This time, our theme was: chocolate-inspired shirts.
And syempre, ang cute niya tingnan together. 😂🍫
Our Sweetest Matchy-Matchy Theme So Far
One thing about our family is we really enjoy these little themes during trips. It doesn’t have to be expensive or overly styled. Sometimes matching shirts alone already make everything feel extra fun.
This time, everyone had their own “chocolate personality”:
- Reese’s (favorite ko talaga ang Reese’s PB cups)
- KitKat
- Cadbury
- Snickers
- Mars
And somehow, kahit magkakaiba yung shirts, bagay na bagay pa rin together because of the whole chocolate color palette.
Looking at the photos now honestly makes me smile because everyone looked so relaxed and happy.
Of Course, Sis Planned the OOTDs Again 😂
At this point, automatic na talaga: Sis handles the travel OOTDs.
She’s always the one thinking of themes, colors, and cute little details that make the photos feel more coordinated without trying too hard.
And honestly? I love that she does that for us because these simple things make our trips feel even more memorable.
Hindi lang siya basta outfit.
Parang part na rin siya ng family bonding namin.
The Best Part About Family OOTDs
I think what I love most about matching outfits during trips is how they instantly make ordinary moments feel extra special.
Even simple things like:
- walking around the property
- taking random photos before checkout
- laughing because someone can’t pose properly 😅
…suddenly become core memories.
And honestly, the kids enjoy it too. They get excited seeing everyone coordinated, especially when the theme is playful and fun like this one.
Simple Trips, Simple Joys
One thing I realized during this staycation is that kids really don’t need extravagant trips to be happy.
Swimming together, eating snacks, taking photos, wearing cute matching outfits, and simply spending uninterrupted time together already means so much.
And as parents, seeing everyone relaxed and genuinely happy feels so fulfilling too.
As moms, we usually focus so much on planning:
- the food
- the budget
- the packing
- the schedule
But when the trip finally happens, it’s usually the small unexpected moments that end up becoming your favorite memories. For me, this was one of them.
Just standing together before checkout, taking these silly little photos in our chocolate shirts, while everyone was still feeling happy from the staycation weekend.
Simple moment. But one I know I’ll look back on fondly someday. 💖
This staycation gave us so many happy little memories, but our chocolate-themed family OOTD definitely became one of my favorites. 🍫💖
Not because the outfits were fancy, but because they perfectly matched the vibe of the whole trip:
fun, relaxed, playful, and full of family laughter.
